Game added to Town’s pre-season schedule
Town have added another game to the pre-season games schedule with a trip to take on Stourbridge FC of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.The game is scheduled for Monday 25th July with a 7:45pm kick-off at Stourbridge’s War Memorial Athletic Ground.
There are a number of connections between the clubs with Stourbridge’s manager Gary Hackett being well known at Town playing over 150 games for us in the mid 80’s. Strikers Chic Bates and Ray Haywood joined from the Glassboys in the 70s and became firm favourites at the Gay Meadow.
It is expected that the team will be made up of a mix of first team and youth players but this will be confirmed nearer the day.
