Shrewsbury Town Community football expands its operation
The Community Sports Trust of Shrewsbury Town Football Club has in recent months been expanding its opportunities for football and multi-sport coaching wider throughout the county.During holiday times when youngsters are looking for things to do and parents are pleased to find good value for money day time activities, the Community Sports Trust are putting on football coaching courses for boys and girls aged 5 to 14 years.
This Easter sees their biggest programme yet with courses at the Power Leagues in Shrewsbury, Prees Recreation Club, Much Wenlock Leisure Centre and at Ludlow Football Club. Hundreds of children will participate in fun skills based activities. The professional footballers at the club are always supportive of these courses turning up to help with coaching and offering advice and to answer questions from the participants.
These courses are a regular feature of the Community Sports Trust programme.They are available for schoolPPA time cover and After School activities as well as attending a host of Fun Days and other special events with their fund raising giant shoot out inflatable.

The Town first team squad took time out of their preparation for the game with Crewe to pop over to the PowerLeague and meet the children on the course.
