Town's successful season off the pitch continued last with the club picking up yet another award.
At the Stadium Experience Official Football Hospitality Awards in Leicester last night Shrewsbury Town were awarded the 'Directors Best Hospitality Award for League 2'.
The award is voted for by the opposition clubs chairman and directors and Town were up against the likes of Barnet, Peterborough, Darlington and Macclesfield Town for the award.
Town's General Manager Jon Harris attended the event on the clubs behalf and saw the award as a great honour for Town: "It is a great honour to be recognised for such a prestigious award and shows that we have got another thing spot on in our first season in the new stadium.
"It's always great to get an award but when the recognition comes from likeminded people from other clubs in your division that makes it all that more special.
"The award is testimony to the hard work and professionalism of Miguel and Janet and all of the hospitality team at the club."
