Town striker Guy Madjo has been called up for U23 Cameroon squad for the forthcoming Olympics.

Guy will fly to Lyon in France to join up with the Cameroon squad on June 1st for the training camp that will run until June 20th.

The Cameroon side have a game scheduled for Thursday 12th June against Japan in Japan and Guy will be hoping to impress.

Paul Simpson broke the news to ShrewsWeb this morning and revealed it was a great honour for the Guy and the club: "It's great news for both Guy and the club that he has been called up for Cameroon.

"Hopefully he can go out an impress and push for place in the Olympic team and represent the club well."
