STFC manager Paul Simpson spoke to more than 60 children attending a Summer Holiday Football Course at the Prostar Stadium.

During the school holidays over 500 children will be trained by the STFC Football in the Community coaches and have tours around the new stadium.

This course took place on the club's new Powerleague astro turf and manager Paul Simpson gave the children a talk conducting a questions and answer session.

The Shrewsbury Town manager met up with around 60 children on Thursday afternoon after training: "Football in the Communities have a lot of courses going on through the summer holidays, and throughout the year, and it's good to see so many here enjoying the football.

"They asked me to come over to present some prizes to the kids and give a little bit of a question and answer session.

"I'm more than happy to spend the time talking and meeting the kids as you can see how much the are enjoying themselves on the course."
