Jaz Out on Loan

Posted on: Tue 20 Jan 2009

Town's young keeper Jasbir Singh has gone out on a month's loan to join Sutton Coldfield Town.

Jaz who is a first year pro has previously had loan moves to Bridgnorth Town and Hinckley Town. The move has been arranged to help out Sutton Coldfield and to hopefully get Jaz some more match experience. The papers have all been signed and Jaz is hopeful that he could go straight into Sutton Coldfield's game at home to Stourport Swifts.

Town manager Paul Simpson revealed the news to ShrewsWeb this afternoon and hopes the move will help Jaz: "We've let Jaz go out to Sutton Coldfield for the month on loan to help him get some more experience.

"He's a decent young keeper but really needs to be playing more games and this will hopefully achieve that.

"He'll be training with us during the week as well as with Sutton Coldfield, and playing the games for them, so we can keep him involved."
