Symsey Goes Out

Posted on: Fri 20 Mar 2009

Michael Symes has this morning joined Accrington Stanley on a month's loan deal.

Symsey has been in and out of the Town squad of late and the move will hopefully allowed him to get some first team football.

Stanley have had injury problems which have seen their squad down in numbers and Symsey is expected to go into the squad for their game against Exeter City on Saturday.

Town manager Paul Simpson broke the news to ShrewsWeb this morning and is hoping that the move will be beneficial for Symsey: "The opportunity has arisen for Michael Symes to go out on loan to Accrington Stanley and we've agreed to that.

"He'll go out on a month's loan to get some football and I think it will do him good.

"After that month we'll take a look at it again and see what we do."
