After going through the whole of March unbeaten, Shrewsbury will be aiming to get April off to a bang with a win against Grimsby at the Prostar on Saturday.
With only six games left, Paul Simpson will be determined to continue the Shrews' good home form to ensure a play-off place, and still hasn't ruled out automatic promotion with Town only five points behind third place.
He'll be hoping his side get back to winning ways though with four draws in a row, but will find it tough against a Grimsby side battling for their league status at the foot of League Two.
Mike Newell's side have been scrapping to avoid the drop all season, and have picked up two wins in their last two games, including last week's 1-0 win against Aldershot, thanks to a late Barry Conlon penalty.
The Mariners have been poor on their travels this season, and only have two wins from their 20 trips away from Blundell Park and none since January. The two sides met back in December with Grimsby winning 1-0 thanks to an Adam Proudlock goal, who is their top scorer this season with eight goals.
With over half of the league aiming for only seven spots, the scramble for promotion to League Two continues this weekend with plenty of crucial matches at both ends of the table.
The top three sides in the league will be playing away from home this weekend, with leaders Brentford travelling to promotion-chasing Bradford, Bury taking on Port Vale at Vale Park, and Rochdale travelling down to the south coast to face Bournemouth.
Fifth-placed Exeter play Dagenham and Redbridge, who also harbour promotion hopes despite being in 10th, and Gillingham entertain Barnet. Chesterfield in 9th are also only a point behind Shrewsbury, and they travel to Macclesfield hoping to break into the promotion places.
