Defender Kelvin Langmead was in a positive mood this morning when he was in at the Prostar Stadium nice and early ahead of training.
Kelvin put in another great performance last night alongside Graham Coughlan in the heart of the Town defence to restrict Bury to very few chances.
Although the Shakers have the slight advantage Kelvin revealed the lads are really looking forward the trip to Gigg Lane on Sunday:"It is a disappointing way to lose any football game as we had played well throughout and created chances.
"We are still feeling very positive and really looking forward now to Sunday's trip to Bury."
Town went about things in a real positive way yesterday and had a number of good chances to take the advantage.Brown in the Bury goal was in inspired form to deny Town but the performance and chances mean Town now have a great opportunity in Sunday: "We played really well as a team and did create a lot of chances but unfortunately the goal went against us.
"We have to pick ourselves up and we know that the tie is certainly far from being over.
"We've got a really good oppounity that we are feeling strong about as there are many positives to take out of last night."
From a defensive perspective Kelvin was pleased that the Town defence had managed to snuff out the Bury danger upfront: "We managed to limit them to very few chances and they do have really good strikers both on the field and on the bench.
"We knew whoever they played would be a threat and we are pleased with the way we dealt with them.
"Spirits are still really high and there is a lot of positivity around the club and we are all looking forward to Sunday."
The mode in the dressing room this morning was a good one with all the lads in good spirits as they begun the preparations for the second leg game:"We've given ourselves a chance and this season we have seemed to do things the hard way.
"It's no different last night as we've gone and made it difficult for ourselves but we know that we can turn it around.
"Each and everyone of us is committed to what we have to do and will do everything to make sure we are right for the game.
"We start the preperations today and will travel up there to make sure everything is right both mentally and physically prepared."
The task on Sunday is now a simple one where the players have to go into the game looking to win the game.Town have proved over the past two away games that when they need to get wins on the road they can: "We know what we've got to do and it is exactly the same scenario as it was for us at Dagenham.
"We have to go there and we have to win the game and last time we had to do that our mentality was spot on and I don't think it will be any different next time.
"Bury won't be sure whether to stick or bust and we know we have to go there and win the game.
"In our last two away games to Rotherham and Dagenham we've done very well at places which are hard to get a result.
"That has given us the confidence to go into Sunday's game in a really positive way."
The Shrewsbury areas of the Prostar Stadium were a near sell-out last night and this made for an electric atmosphere.Kelvin is now the clubs longest serving player and it was the best atmosphere that he has played under: "I'd definitely go as far as saying that was the best atmosphere that has been in the stadium since we've been here.
"It was fantastic and the fans all the way through were a different class
"If the following that come with us on Sunday can be exactly the same then that will be fantastic.
"People go on about the fans being the 12th man and when they are like that then it is really a big positive for us."
