Town will appeal the decision to send off Steve Leslie in the play-off semi-final win at Bury.

Leslie was shown a straight red for a pretty innocuous challenge at the start of extra time, the challenge didn't bring many protests from Bury and the Bury players seemed to be shocked by the decision.

Town manager Paul Simpson has reviewed the incident and has asked the club to appeal against the red card: "We've had a look at the incident and think that there is enough to ask for the decision to be reviewed.

"We will fill in the required paperwork and send off in time to get it looked at.

"Steven isn't the type of player who would do something like that so hopefully we can get the right decision in time for Wembley."
