Omer Out
Omer Riza will be missing for up to 3 months after picking up an ankle injury in last week's defeat away to Dagenham & Redbridge.
Omer saw a specialist last week who recommended that he have another assessment today and the results weren't encouraging.
In the challenge at Dagenham Omer turned his ankle which resulted in an extreme range of movements which has caused a chipped bone in his ankle.
The specialist has referred Omer for an operation on Wednesday (26th) where his ankle will undergo micro fracture surgery to aid the recovery.
The news is a big blow to Omer and to manager Paul Simpson: "It's a big blow to lose Omer for such a long period of time, when we originally thought it would be only 8 weeks that was a blow but this is a lot worse.
"It's also a big blow for Omer as he's worked so hard to get himself fit over the pre-season and was pushing hard for a place.
"We all wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in training as soon as possible."
