Disley Out for 3 weeks
Town's injury problems increased on Saturday in the trip Accrington when Craig Disley left the action with a knee problem.
Dis had hurt his knee when he had a shot which was blocked and the early indications were that he had damaged his medial ligaments in his knee.
The Doc has scanned Dis this morning and the news is actually quite encouraging as he has Grade 1 damage to the knee ligaments and will be missing for around 3 weeks.
Chris Neal also was scanned at the same time and this revealed that the tear in his groin is improving and should be back within the original 3 to 4 weeks estimate.
There was some good news though with the confirmation that Joss Labadie's loan from West Brom has been extended until January, with Albion having a recall option.
The news is of some relief for Town manager Paul Simpson as he looks ahead to the weekend visit of Bradford City: "The original fear was that Craig would be missing for over a month so the results today are some good news.
"It is a blow though to have another player missing through injury and I'll have to look at whether of not we need to strengthen ahead of the transfer window closing.
"The news that Joss Labadie's loan has been extended until January is good as he's shown over the last month that he has been a good addition to the squad."
