With the cold weather gripping the country fans have been contacting the club for details of conditions at the Prostar ahead of the weekend's game with Barnet.

The pitch has been covered during the week to help to keep the frost and freezing temperatures that hit Shropshire earlier in the week.The recent snow fall has left a couple of inches of snow covering the pitch.

This will act as a thermal blanket over the pitch and will help to keep any overnight frost out of the surface.

The club is looking to get the match referee down to Shrewsbury on Friday night so that he can take an early look at the pitch.
