Good afternoon and welcome to the Prostar Stadium for this afternoon's game against Dagenham & Redbridge. It's good to welcome John Still and everyone connected with the club who have made the trip today and it promises to be a tough game against one of our leagues most consistent sides.

Since we last played at our own stadium we have gone on a good unbeaten run and put in some good performances. We have picked up excellent victories at Bradford and Chesterfield as well as a valuable point at Burton Albion.

For the trips to Bradford City and Chesterfield I knew we needed to play in a certain way to give ourselves the chance of doing well and planned to change things around for these games. We brought Steve Leslie in to play off Dave Hibbert and this paid dividends in those games.

At Burton Albion we came away with a point but in our heart of hearts we know that we should have done better in the game. With Burton down to 10 men late in the first half that gave us a great chance to go on and win the game. You have to give credit to Burton though because with only 10 men they really worked hard to get the point.

Over the months you look back at key moments that have affected the course of season. We can look to the Macclesfield game and Dave Hibbert's late equaliser and hopefully we will look back at the Burton game and see that it was a valuable point.

We are still unbeaten in 2010 - albeit its only two games - and we want to keep that run going for as long as we can. The players have shown the levels that they are capable of playing to and the challenge now is for them to maintain that level of performance, particularly starting at home today. It's time for us to now start looking forward rather than raking over the past because if we do that then I am sure we can all look towards a bright future.

One of the plus's this season has been the progress of a number of the youth team players into the first team side. Will Richards, Jon Taylor and Danny Taylor have all been training with the first team this season and have continued to develop and progress. They have all now made their first team debuts and have all impressed during their time on the pitch. The challenge now for them is to continue to impress in training and the reserves and grab the chance when it next comes their way.

Please get behind the team today for the whole 90 minutes as your support does really make the difference to the players.

Enjoy the game

Paul
