ENJOY THE MATCH INITIATIVE
Shrewsbury Town V's Accrington Stanley

The home game against Accrington Stanley this Saturday is the club's nominated "Enjoy the Match" game. This is a Football League initiative to attract more people into football and to highlight the responsibility supporters have for their conduct before, during and after the match.

Shrewsbury Town has received the "Family Excellence Award" for the past two seasons from the Football League and has also been shortlisted for this season's award. It is also the current holder of the League Two "Family Club of the Year".

To coincide with the initiative the club have reduced ticket prices which, if bought before 6pm on Friday (Ticket office closes at 6pm), can be up to 35% cheaper than normal pre-match day prices.

The club recognises that these are difficult economic times for everyone. With five games during the month of January, and in particular 2 home games within a week, individual financial resources may be stretched.

STFC appreciate all our supporters greatly and this is a small gesture to reward our fan base and indeed to try and attract more people into the home of Shrewsbury Town Football Club.

There is no better time to introduce a friend and watch STFC push for promotion.
