The club has considered the introduction of a singers block in the South Stand very carefully, taking on board the many diverse opinions of the supporters, and has come to the following decision.

STFC will not be introducing a specific area for singers for the following reasons.

We do not want to discriminate between different supporter groups. The existing Season Ticket allocation would make it very difficult to manage the transfer. (547 current season ticket holders are situated in the South Stand) The Club feels that it would be very difficult to influence the migration of supporters into any one area of the ground without causing disharmony from some part of the supporter population.

Whilst some supporters will be disappointed with this it is hoped that they will understand that the Club has tried to consider the needs of all supporters. We appreciate the support that those who sing bring to the atmosphere at a match and hope that the singers who voluntarily gather in the South Stand and Blocks 18 and 19 will continue to do so, encouraging others to raise the volume in other parts of the ground.
