Shrewsbury Town have won the E.ON Family Club of the year award at last night's Football League awards dinner.
Town won the same award last season and the honour was again awarded to the club for the family match day experience. The judging panel expressed that Shrewsbury had offered a consistently excellent family experience since moving to the new stadium and this year had improved yet again. Overall, Shrewsbury have gone to great efforts and rightly once again deserve recognition.
Shrewsbury Town's General Manager Jon Harris was at the dinner and was pleased to receive the award on behalf of the club: "It's a great honour for the club to have won this award from the Football League.
"Shrewsbury Town are the first club to retain the title at the Football League awards so that makes it even more of an honour.
"It shows that we haven't stood still and we continue to strive to make the match day experience a great one for not only the children but also adults.
"The award is a great reflection on everybody at the club who help to make match day at Shrewsbury Town such a great experience."
