Dave Button's loan spell with Shrewsbury Town has been cut short after his club Tottenham Hotspurs recalled him early.
Dave has been in superb form since he joined Town back in November and returns to White Hart Lane to be involved in the first team.
In Saturday's game with Morecambe Town's first choice keeper Chris Neal returned and First Team coach Stuart Delany explained that Neal also be playing in the final game of the season at Port vale.
ShrewsPlayer spoke to Stuart Delaney and he was full of praise for Dave Button's contribution during his time at the club: "Dave has been a fantastic pro for us this season and a credit to himself and to his club.
"He's been a joy to work with and has been a different class in games since he came in on loan.
"I had a chat with Dave on Friday to explain the situation and he took it well and agreed to go and the bench.
"I want to express my thanks to him and I am sure he will go on to have a fantastic career in the game in the game."
