Shrewsbury Town manager Graham Turner has bolstered his striking options ahead of the weekend trip down to Hereford United.
He's brought in 20 year old Romaine Sawyers on a month's loan to add to his forward options ahead of the important game.
Sawyers is another product from the West Brom academy and a player who is highly regarded at the Hawthornes.
He's been involved with the Albion first team and also spent a short loan spell at Port Vale last year.
Graham Turner revealed the news this morning and is pleased to have another striker in ahead of the Hereford game:"He's a young lad from West Brom who I've seen play a number of times and he also played on Tuesday afternoon for West Brom's reserves and was watched by our chief scout who came back with a glowing report.
"We are getting a good relationship with West Brom and they think highly of him and are pleased to let him come to us.They know we take care their players and that we play football in the right way and were happy with the progress that James Hurst made with us.
"We've got Marvin out for 3 matches; we've got James Collins and Terry Gornell who are both doing well.If I'm honest and if Tom Bradshaw is honest with himself he hasn't done as well as we both would have expected from him.
"He's got to work his way through it and he is still a young player and with any youngster you get peaks and troughs that you have to deal with.He did exceptionally well last season coming in and scoring so many important so I'm sure he will come through this ok."
Romaine Sawyers will have squad number 26.
