Hall is a 6'2" defender who normally plays at right-sided centre-back but can play anywhere across the back, is good with both feet and can also play in midfield.
Drummond came to peoples notice when he was with Morecambe in the Conference; he was linked with a move a number of clubs, including Town, but chose to move to Chester where he's become a firm favourite. The 30 year old Preston born player is an excellent central midfield player and his 6'3" frame makes him a good target.
Speaking to ShrewsWeb this morning GP revealed that he'd been watching Danny Hall since he was a youngster and was pleased to finally land his signature: "Danny's a player I watched a lot when I was with Everton but since Ronnie Moore took over at Oldham he brought in more experienced players and Danny's has only played a few times.
"He was on a long contract at Oldham as all young players with potential are these days but he's out of contract now and we've persuaded him to come to us.
"He's our type of player in that he's young, quick, is good with both feet and can play anywhere across the back and in midfield.
"I let Stuart Whitehead go and needed to bring in a better player and with the signing of Danny I think I've done that."
Stuart Drummond has recently been linked with a move to Town after rejecting a new contract offer

"He's the type of player who gets up and down the pitch well, is a good target and will get you goals.
"I've been chasing Stuart for a while now and Richard Hope knows him well and it's a great signing for us."
