The Bolton born player started out with his hometown club as a youngster before moving across to join Sheffield Wednesday's youth set-up.He progressed through the ranks at Hillsborough and impressed enough to be offered a professional contact with the club.Sean made his debut for the Owls as a 16 year old in a trip to St Mary's to play Southampton.He quickly became a regular in the Wednesday side but as happens with a lot of players, a change of manager saw his chances dry up.He was allowed to leave Wednesday at the end of last season and once Graham Turner and his staff became aware of his availability they brought him to Town on a two year deal.
