Daniel joined up with his home town side of Liverpool as a 16 year old after being spotted playing locally in 2002.He moved up through the ranks at the Premier League side and onto the fringes of the first team, playing a handful of pre-season games.He moved to Crewe Alexandra on loan at the start of the 2006/07 season.After 6 months the loan was turned into a permanent deal and went on to play over a 100 first team games at Gresty Road.He was released at the end of last season and after training and playing for Town over the pre-season Graham Turner signed Daniel on an initial 6 month deal.
