Town's reserves fell to a 4-0 defeat away to Walsall at the Bescot.

Town did have a number of good chances and if Walsall keeper Clayton Ince hadn't been in such good form the scoreline could have been a lot different.

In the end it was a defeat that makes it hard for Stuart Delaney's side to retain their totesport.com leage title for a second year running.  Before the game Town were still in with a good shout of retaining the title but the defeat looks to have put pay to that.
