26 year old striker who started his career at boyhood club Crewe, before joining Town from Port Vale in 2016.
Having joined Crewe at the age of 7, he rose through the ranks, signing his first professional deal in 2008.
A prolific goal scorer from an early age he enjoyed loan spells at Halifax Town, Newcastle Town, IBV in Iceland and Curzon Ashton before really making his mark on the Alex first team.
He went onto make over 100 league appearances for his hometown club scoring 19 goals in the process.
Leaving Crewe in 2014, AJ moved to League 1 side Yeovil Town in 2014, but he stayed there for only a year, leaving the club after their relegation to League 2.
He signed for Port Vale in the summer of 2015 after a successful trial and top scored for the Burslem based club last season with 11 goals in 37 appearances.
He joined Town on a 2 year deal in the summer of 2016 and will be hoping to rekindle his partnership with former strike partner Louis Dodds.
