Centre-back Joe Anderson signed for Shrewsbury Town on a season-long loan from Sunderland in the summer of 2023.
A ball-playing centre-halve by trade, Joe plays on the left-hand side of defence.
The 22-year-old has featured for Sunderland in the Championship after joining them in January of 2023.
A product of Everton's academy, Joe was captained by another one of our recent signings, Morgan Feeney, in the Premier League 2 for a number of years and the pair share a very good relationship.
Joe featured for the Toffees' under-18s aged just 15 and went on to make over 100 appearances for Everton's youth sides before his move to the Northeast.
