Progress on exit to Super Blues Way
A new gate at the rear of the West Stand has been put in place to ease the exit of supporters along Super Blues Way. There are now two gates and signage to indicate which one to use. To exit left towards Sainsbury’s and the Park and Ride site or right towards Oteley Road. Our thanks to J R Slee for doing this work.
Thanks to the Council providing the stone we have now almost completed the resurfacing of the Super Blues pathway from the Sainsbury’s bridge to the West Stand gate. This will eradicate the holes, puddles and mud experienced by users in the past. RVJ Contracting are completing the work.
We are grateful to the Super Blues once again for their excellent support in contributing to the costs for these projects. The upgrading and management of the path is a joint partnership between the Club and the Council. The next phase for discussion with the Council is possible lighting for the pathway.
