Season ticket offer proving to be popular
Shrewsbury Town are pleased by the initial response to their popular half season tickets which are now on sale from the Greenhous Meadow ticket office.
Starting with the Boxing Day clash against Notts County, the tickets are the perfect Christmas present for supporters.
Buying a half season ticket equates to two free home matches and everyone who purchases a half season ticket will also receive a free Shrewsbury Town away shirt as an added bonus.
"Half season tickets have been available for the last few seasons," said Sean Evans, ticket office supervisor at the Greenhous Meadow. "They have always been popular and the early response to this season's has been encouraging.
"There are significant savings to be made and the fact there's a free away shirt as part of the package makes it even more of an attractive offer.
"There's some big home matches in the second half of the season, most notably against Sheffield United, Doncaster Rovers and finally Portsmouth on the last day of the season.
"The supporters have an important part to play in helping the team climb the League One table so we hope there will continue to be a good response to the half season tickets."
