Legends Evening

7 December 2012

Monday 28th January at the Greenhous Meadow

Shrewsbury Town will hold their second Legends Evening, sponsored by Pure Telecom, early next year when four more key figures from the club's proud past will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

As an added bonus for the night, to be held in the Sovereign Suite at the Greenhous Meadow on Monday, January 28, much travelled striker Steve Claridge, now a leading football pundit on BBC television and radio, will be the guest speaker.

Comedian Jed Stone will also be appearing at the black tie event.

"It promises to be a great night, one not to be missed," said Shrewsbury Town’s sales executive Andrew Tretton. "We received plenty of positive feedback from the last Legends night and we hope this one goes even better.

"It will be exciting to induct four more people into the club's Hall of Fame while both Steve Claridge and Jed Stone have earned impressive reputations on the after dinner circuit.

"I’m delighted that Pure Telecom is sponsoring the event, it's a night we're all looking forward to."
