Wrexham game falls foul of the weather
Shrewsbury Town's scheduled reserve team visit to Wrexham this afternoon has been postponed owing to a frozen pitch.
The Central League game, which was to have been played at Wrexham's Colliers Park training ground, was called off this morning.
"We look as though we're going to try and reschedule it for next Monday so at least then we would get a game in before Christmas," said Town boss Graham Turner. "It won't be too bad if we can get that game on then.
"Obviously we would have liked to have played it to keep the players topped up, but there's nothing you can do about it."
