Hawkins has applauded the quality of the service and food offered at the Greenhous Meadow
Former Shrewsbury Town assistant manager Graham Hawkins has applauded the quality of the service and food offered at the Greenhous Meadow.
Graham recently held a successful charity sports dinner in the club's Sovereign Suite which raised more than £5,000 in support of the new cancer unit at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
He was diagnosed with cancer three years ago and is now keen to raise funds as a thank you for the treatment he has received.
Graham was delighted how the event went and was quick to commend Shrewsbury Town's catering and hospitality departments for their professionalism.
"The catering staff were super and the meal excellent," said Graham, in a thank you letter to the club. "I went to a dinner recently at a football club I will not mention, but they are in the Premier League. It was twice the cost of your meal and not in the same league."
Shrewsbury Town's hospitality department has established an excellent reputation since the club moved to the Greenhous Meadow five years ago.
They serve thousands of satisfied customers throughout the year and have become a sought after venue for a host of various functions.
