Dons fan cycling to tonight's game

Adam Faiers is cycling to every MK Dons away match

An MK Dons fan is cycling to this evening's match with Shrewsbury Town at the Greenhous Meadow.

Adam Faiers is cycling to every MK Dons away match all season to raise money for Disability Football in Milton Keynes.

"The trip to Shrewsbury is just over 100 miles and hopefully I will be arriving between 6.30 and 7pm," said Adam. "I am giving myself plenty of time because I cycled to Tranmere last Friday!"

Adam added he expects to cycle around 2,500 miles over the course of this season.

Martin James, Shrewsbury Town's community development manager, said: "We're looking forward to welcoming Adam to the Greenhous Meadow tonight.

"Adam's obviously a very driven person to undertake such a challenge and we wish him every success."

A Town fan, Mark Peters, undertook a similar challenge during the 2010/11 seasons ago to raise funds for the National Autistic Society.
