Gornell Goes Out On Loan

9 November 2012

Terry joins up with Rochdale for a month

Shrewsbury Town manager Graham Turner has this morning revealed that Town have agreed that Terry Gornell can join Rochdale on loan.

Terry will join up with his ex Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman at Rochdale and will be hoping to get back on the goal trail.  He’s played 13 times for Town so far this season and despite putting in some good performances has been unlucky around the goal.

“We’ve allowed Terry to out on loan to Rochdale for a month and I think he’s been unlucky so far this season with a lack of goals.” revealed Turner this morning.

“He started pre-season looking good and he started the season looking sharp with good movement and control but he’s been unlucky with one or two occasions.

“Not scoring doesn’t do the confidence any good so we are hoping he will go to Rochdale, get a few goals for them and get his confidence back.”

Terry joins Rochdale on a month long emergency loan subject to approval from the Football League and the Football Association.
