Youths host Tigers

30 November 2012

Noon kick-off at the Sports Village

There might be no first team game this weekend but one Shrewsbury Town side are in action with the youth team at home to Hull City in the Youth Alliance Cup second round.
Shrewsbury, impressive 4-2 winners in round one at Blackpool earlier this month, will take on the Tigers at the Shrewsbury Sports Village at Sundorne on Saturday (noon). Admission is free.
"We're doing okay at the moment," said Wayne Evans, Shrewsbury Town's head of youth. "We've won three of our last four games and we're starting to move the ball quicker so hopefully we can do well again.
"We expect Hull to have a good group and we played them two or three years ago in the FA Youth Cup."
Wayne should be able to select from a full squad with no injury concerns.
