Young keeper back from latest England trip
Promising Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Callum Burton is back at the Greenhous Meadow this week after his latest taste of international experience.
The first year scholar spent more than a week away with the England under-17 squad, training at St George's Park at Burton, before travelling to Estonia to compete in the European Championships first qualifying round.
It proved a successful excursion for the Young Lions, too, for they won all three of their matches.
Callum was on the bench for the opening victories over hosts Estonia and Wales with Newcastle United youngster Freddie Woodman between the posts.
But Callum, now capped five times at under-17 level, then got the nod to play the full game as England rounded off a successful week with a 3-2 victory over Northern Ireland.
England are now through to the elite qualifying round of the tourmanent when Callum will again hope to be involved in John Peacock's squad.
