Gaffer pleased to being Helan in on loan

Graham Turner is delighted to have completed the signing of Jeremy Helan on loan from Premier League champions Manchester City.

Helan, a left winger, comes highly recommended and has been capped by France at under-19 level.

"It was evident on Tuesday night that the side lacked pace and the one thing he's got is he's a very quick player," said the Town manager.

"He's got good skill and he's a left footed player, left sided, who played in Man City's first team in the Capital One Cup this season as he went on against Aston Villa.

"He's been in the squad on occasions, he's been on tour with them so they think that highly of him.

"I think they're pleased that he's come to a club like us and we're delighted to have him here.

"He's a wide left player. I think they moved him to left back just to get him used to defending but I see him as a left winger and that's where he'll play."

The bossr revealed there could be more new arrivals ahead of Saturday's home clash against Colchester United as he chases further reinforcements.

"We're hoping that's just the first of three before the weekend," he added. "We're moving on two more, we're getting very close, and we hope to conclude it well in time for Saturday."
