Meningitis Trust collection at the Swindon game
Earlier this summer former Shrewsbury Town defender Dean Holden, and his wife Danielle, suffered the tragic loss of their infant daughter, Cici, to the rapid onset of meningitis whilst on holiday abroad.
As part of our support for Dean and his family, we are arranging for a collection to be made at this weekend’s fixture with Swindon Town.
Volunteers from the Official Supporters Club will be shaking buckets around the outside of the ground before the game in aid of the Meningitis Trust and St Mark’s School, Worsley, in Manchester where Dean’s two sons go to school and the family have been involved in fund raising.
The proceeds from the collection will be presented to Dean as a cheque before the televised fixture against Walsall on Sunday, October 14.
Please feel you can give generously and support the Holden family in their quest to help others.
