Hector back in training

Clean bill of health ahead of Notts clash

Graham Turner is set to have the rare luxury of selecting from a fully fit squad at Notts County this weekend with Michael Hector now back in training.

The on loan Reading central defender missed Saturday's 1-1 draw at Stevenage owing to a knee injury but joined in training yesterday.

Hector's availability, admitted the manager, leaves him with a welcome selection headache ahead of the trip to Meadow Lane given how well the experienced Reuben Hazell performed against Stevenage in his first start at first team level for 11 months.

"Michael trained yesterday and he's okay," said the boss. "That will present me with a dilemma because I thought Reuben did well for his first game for such a long time.

"That gives me a selection problem there and there's one or two other positions as well. We talked about the follow on from the reserve team fixture last Tuesday and the efforts of the players to stake a first team place.

"It's a great position to be in and we've got everybody training this morning, no injuries, so again that's a good position to be in.

"We're strong in midfield and there's other position that we've got selection headaches."
