International call-ups for Bristol mean game is off
The trip to Ashton Gate on Saturday 7th September has been postponed due to international call-ups at Bristol City.
Marvin Elliott (Jamaica), Derrick Williams (Republic of Ireland Under-21s) and Wes Burns (Wales Under-21s) have all been named by their respective national associations in the forthcoming international break.
And with three players absent due to international duty, City are able to apply for a postponement of the fixture, which was due to be played on Saturday, September 7th (3pm).
The Football League has now confirmed the match has been postponed and will need to be rearranged.
Any tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for the new fixture. Refunds can be sought by supporters unable to make the new date.
