‘BUY A BRICK’ FOR CHRISTMAS
Christmas is coming and a commemorative brick that is part of the Greenhous Meadow would make the ideal present for any Shrewsbury Town fan.
The ‘Buy a Brick’ scheme is run by the Super Blues Club and the money raised is used to pay for projects that benefit both the Football Club and its supporters.
Your brick will include wording of your choice in black or gold lettering. Your brick can be a single (30 characters) or double (60 characters). You will also receive a great colour certificate - ideal for framing.
Prices start from just under £40. Bricks will be laid at the stadium in early 2014. The deadline for orders is Saturday 7th December, for certificates to be posted before Christmas.
Around 1,300 bricks have already been sold and these can be seen at the front of the main buildings at the Greenhous Meadow. There is also a special memorial area - next to the training pitch at the stadium.
Not just for Christmas - these bricks make a great gift for many other occasions, including births, birthdays, retirements, Valentine’s Day and Fathers Day. You can also use them to help remember a loved one.
