Chairman’s Christmas message

24 December 2013

Chairman RE Wycherley's Christmas message to Town fans around the world

Chairman’s Christmas message

On behalf of the Board, management and staff we wish all of our supporters and sponsors a very happy Christmas time and a prosperous New Year.

2013 has seen the club fulfil its first season in league One and maintain its status.  Graham has made changes to his squad and we have seen a more youthful and entertaining brand of football so far this current season .

It has been a year of economic hardship for many supporters and we hope that the early bird season ticket offers and the dynamic ticket pricing have gone some way to help supporters afford to watch their beloved team.  As a club we look to continue to invest in the team and make every effort to increase revenues to support Graham and his team to continue to bring rewards.

At the end of this year we should spare a thought for those family members of former players and supporters of the club who have sadly passed away.

The New Year brings the second half of the season and a hope that we can go on a positive run of results to see us secure our place in the league and perhaps push for the play-offs.

Anything is possible in football.  You have to live the dream!

Thank you for your generous and vocal support, home and away, through 2013.

May I wish you Seasons greetings and a Happy New Year.
R E Wycherley
