Stalemate at Wrexham but better performance from Town
Town 0 Wrexham 0
Central Reserve League
Tuesday 10th December 2013
Town: Joe Anyon, Dom Smith, Dave Winfield, Jermaine Grandison (George Carpenter 65), Alex McQuade, Niall Flint, Jon Taylor, Alex Fletcher, Sam Molyneux, Tom Bradshaw, Jon Marsden
Subs: Callum Burton, Kaiman Anderson
Town had to make a change before the game with Dave McAllister being unavailable due to a sickness bug which meant a chance for one of the youngsters.
The team showed a good spirit and work ethic over the 90 minutes which pleased the watching Town coaching staff.
There were chances for both teams but in the end it was a case of clean sheet for both Town and Wrexham and a share of the points.
The plus points for Town were Jermaine Grandison getting another 65 minutes of match action and looking a lot sharper, and Jon Taylor coming through the full 90 minutes with no reaction to his recent injury.
