Luke looking forward to the trip to Crewe
It's no surprise that midfielder Luke Summerfield is looking forward to Saturday's short trip to Crewe Alexandra so much.
Summerfield scored home and away against the Railwaymen last season, heading the winner at the Greenhous Meadow in November before nodding the equaliser in March's 1-1 draw at Gresty Road.
Now the former Cheltenham man hopes the clash with Crewe can see Town quickly get back on the right track following the disappointment of last weekend's 1-0 defeat at home to Walsall.
"The couple of games against Crewe last season were nice and positive for me with the two goals, but we have to react in a positive way to last weekend," said Summerfield.
"As long as we come away with the points, it doesn't really matter who scores."
Crewe are currently in the bottom two but Summerfield has played the Cheshire club enough times over the years to know they will prove tricky opposition.
"The way they play makes Crewe a great footballing team," he said. "They've produced some great players over the years, most recently Nick Powell who played a big part in getting them promoted a couple of seasons ago.
"But we've got to go there positively and look to build on our performances before the Walsall game."
Town won for the first time on their travels this season with victory at Stevenage in the last away game, and now Summerfield wants lots more happy away-days.
He added: "We've had a lot of positive feedback from the last month or so, especially the way we played at Stevenage. The goals came away from home for us that day and hopefully that will carry on."
