GT Updates on Wright, Taylor and Grandison

Graham Turner is encouraged at the progress of Mark Wright and Jermaine Grandison as they target returns to full fitness but he says Jon Taylor remains a doubt ahead of Saturday's home match against Stevenage.

Winger Wright has been ruled out with a knee injury since the match at Crawley on December 8 while defender Grandison was last involved at Swindon on January 19 before being forced out of the side owing to a hip complaint.

Taylor, Town's seven goal top scorer, missed last Friday's 2-0 win at Tranmere with a groin injury.

"Mark Wright has his last injection of the course today and once that settles down he should be be joining in," said the manager.

"Jermaine Grandison is starting his first straight line running now so he's well on his way to recovery.

"But Jon Taylor's groin is keeping him out of training and it will be touch and go whether he's going to be fit for this coming weekend. There's got to be doubts about him."
