OSC Bowling night a bit hit with supporters
Shrewsbury Town duo Joe Jacobson and Jon Taylor tried their hand at 10 pin bowling at a successful charity event organised by the Official Supporters Club last night.
Jacobson and Taylor were joined at the event held at AMF Bowling in Harlescott by physio Chris Skitt who proved the star turn at knocking the pins down.
"It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and nice to see so many supporters, young and old, having a great time," said Martin James, Shrewsbury Town's head of community development who was also there..
"Jon and Joe were excellent company for the evening, engaging with the fans, chatting to them and having pictures taken, and also having a go at the bowling.
"The night once again showed how passionate the supporters are about backing the club and the players, and it was a really positive evening."
Some of the proceeds from the event will go to Hospice at Home with the Official Supporters Club now planning more fund raising ventures.
