Shrewsbury Town Community Trust led NCS induction a hit
Twenty young adults aged between 15 and 17 took part in the Shrewsbury Town Community Trust led NCS induction.
They enjoyed a number of team building, leadership and problem solving exercises over two enjoyable days.
“It was wonderful to see how innovative and creative the young adults were,” said Andrew Bradbury, one of the NCS team leaders.
The NCS staff was really impressed with the high level of leadership skills shown by all the young adults and their positive attitude towards all the tasks set for them.
Over the next month, the young adults will be taking part in two residential weeks where they will get a taste of outward bound activities and an insight into their local community before they research, plan and deliver their own social action project in the local community.
