Town start second League 1 season at home
Shrewsbury Town will kick off the new League 1 season with a Greenhous Meadow clash against MK Dons on Saturday, August 3.
It means Town will open the campaign with two home games having been drawn at home to Championship club Bolton Wanderers in round one of the Capital One Cup.
Town produced two of their best performances last season against the Dons, conceding a late equaliser in a 2-2 Meadow draw in November before Tom Eaves scored twice as Town won 3-2 at stadium:mk in March.
The first away trip of the campaign on August 10 will be to London to face Leyton Orient with the opening month's fixtures completed by games at home to Swindon and Coventry plus a first trip to Rotherham's New York Stadium.
September will see one of the stand-out games of the season with relegated Wolves heading to the Greenhous Meadow on Saturday, September 21.
The return fixture at Molineux will take place on Saturday, March 15.
Town will head to Coventry on Saturday, March 1, Sheffield United's Bramall Lane on Saturday, February 8 and Bristol City's Ashton Gate much earlier in the season on Saturday, September 7.
