Gaffer tips Bradford and Brentford for weekend wins

Shrewsbury Town will find out the identity of the two final teams who will join them in a strong looking League One next season this weekend.

Both the League One and League Two play-off finals take place at Wembley with manager Graham Turner predicting success for Brentford and Bradford City.

Brentford face Yeovil in the League One showpiece on Sunday while Bradford meet Northampton in the battle to escape League Two 24 hours earlier.

"Bradford are a very big club by lower league standards," said GT. "They've had an exceptional season in terms of their cup football. It was a terrific achievement getting to the Capital One Cup final and it wouldn't surprise me to see them beat Northampton this weekend.

"I think Yeovil have done exceptionally well, Gary Johnson going back there, and he's really galvanised the club. What a performance to get to Wembley.

"But Brentford will be the better team and I just fancy them to go through.

"They were very unlucky on the final day of the season with the missed penalty and Doncaster going down the other end and scoring. They missed out on automatic promotion because of those events.

"I think Bradford and Brentford will be the two promoted sides."
