Second Early Bird deadline approaching
Time is running out for Shrewsbury Town supporters to take advantage of the second wave of Early Bird offers for next season's season tickets.
The deadline has been extended owing to Monday's Bank Holiday to next Tuesday, May 6 (5pm) with the latest offer equating to six free games.
Season ticket sales have so far exceeded the club’s expectations.
Supporters have flocked to take advantage of the special pricing structure on offer for next season at the Greenhous Meadow which initially offered admission to effectively eight free matches.
Roland Wycherley, the Shrewsbury Town chairman, said he was delighted with the response of the club's loyal supporters.
"We hope that even more supporters will take advantage of this next stage of early bird season ticket prices which enables fans to receive up to six free matches," he said. "I thank the supporters for their continued support.”
Sean Evans, ticket office supervisor at the Greenhous Meadow, added business had been brisk.
He said: "It's been great to see so many supporters renewing and it 's also been encouraging to see so many first time season ticket holders attracted by the early bird offer.
"Season tickets for the 2013-14 campaign remain on sale at a price which still represent significant savings which equates to half a dozen free matches over the season.
"Having seen what other clubs offer in terms of early bird season ticket offers, Shrewsbury Town continue to promote one of the best value for money offers in League One."
The deadline for the next stage of the early bird pricing structure for season tickets is May 7 and tickets can be purchased from the Greenhous Meadow box office from Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm.
