Carol Service moved indoors this year

28 November 2013

Annual event takes place on Sunday 15th December

The Greenhous Meadow will open its doors for Shrewsbury Town's popular annual Carol Service next month.

It will take place on Sunday, December 15 at 5pm.

There's a change to this year's event as, unlike previous years, it will be moved indoors to the Sovereign Suite.

The Carol Service will feature the Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir and there will also be a children's tableaux of nativity.

"As the weather is often unpredictable, we have decided to hold it in the warm this year," said Martin James, head of community development at the Greenhous Meadow.

"This has become a popular annual event and it's always a special occasion in the club's calendar."

Refreshments will be available and parking at the stadium is free.

Tickets are available from the ticket office priced £2 adults and £1 children, with all proceeds to go to local children's charities.
