Take part in our business 5-a-side tournament
Shrewsbury Town are holding a one-day Business Champions League next month to determine which company has the best five-a-side football team in Shropshire.
Some 51 games are due to be played on Sunday, December 1 at the Power League pitches on the Greenhous Meadow site with the tournament restricted to the first 16 teams to sign up - but there can only be one winner!
The cost to enter a team - an eight-man squad - is £250 plus VAT.
Teams will be divided into four groups of four with all sides guaranteed three games. The winners of each group will go forward to knockout semi finals and then the final itself.
Complimentary sandwiches and refreshments will be served in Arthur Rowley Lounge at the Greenhous Meadow after the tournament while a cash bar will be available with players having the chance to enjoy the Super Sunday games on Sky TV.
Every player who takes part will also receive a free ticket for Shrewsbury's home match against Walsall on December 14.
There will be cups and medals for the winners who will also be invited onto the Meadow pitch at half time during the Walsall game to be introduced to a big local derby crowd.
"We invite your company to enjoy a feast of football," said Andrew Tretton, commercial sales executive at the Greenhous Meadow.
"This will provide staff of local businesses the chance of some excellent team building.
"There is also the associated competition and tickets for the Walsall game which can act as a well deserved thank you from employers for the hard work put in by their staff over the year.
"We are limiting the tournament to two teams per company and, as places are limited, early booking is advised to avoid disappointment."
The tournament will kick off at 10.30am with the final expected to take place at around 12.30pm.
